We are currently conducting a study looking at women’s opinions on cervical cancer screening in Australia.
The National Cervical Screening Program was introduced in 1991 and aims to prevent cervical cancer by detecting early changes in the cervix.
We are looking for women 18 years of age and over to participate in a phone interview or 60 minute focus group at QUT, Kelvin Grove.
During the interview or focus group participants will be asked about their experience, opinions, and beliefs on cervical cancer screening, both if you have previously had pap smears or choose not to. This includes the current Pap smear program and the upcoming changes to the HPV test later this year.
