The Imagine trial aims to implement and evaluate an innovative training and mentoring program for surgeons who perform laparoscopic (keyhole) hysterectomy.
The first stage of the Imagine trial commenced last week at the Train-the-Trainers workshop.
Prof Coleman and Mr Cecil are world leaders in surgical skills training and spent time with senior Queensland gynaecology surgeons on a Train-the-Trainers program. The aim of the Train-the-trainers is to build a bank of Queensland surgeons who can effectively train others in Laparoscopic Hysterectomy procedures.
